MedicScan OCR True Parse with ScanShell 2000R is a scanner and software package, that can scan insurance cards and saves both the image and the extracted textual data, into a file. Additionally, the ScanShell 2000R A4 document scanner enables the user to also scan documents , and save them to PDF files.

MedicScan OCR True Parse has an extensive OCR capabilities. When you scan insurance cards, It extracts the textual information from the card image into appropriate text fields. The textual information can be saved to external file, clipboard or third party software.

MedicScan OCR True Parse has a flexible data extraction configuration. User can select to extract full card's image, and in case of ID cards, select to extract face image and signature image too. User can select if he wants to export the extracted data to a predefined web address, or a user-selected text file.

MedicScan OCR True Parse offers the possibility to define that the text extracted when you scan insurance cards, will be saved to a text file. The text file will have the same name as the image file (ending with the .txt extension), and which will be placed in the directory where the image files are saved.
