MedicScan OCR True Parse with ScanShell 3000D is an insurance card reader and software package, that can read insurance cards and save both the image and the extracted textual data, into a file. Additionally, the ScanShell 3000D A4 duplex document scanner enables the user to scan both sides of a document in one scan, and save the images to one PDF file.

MedicScan OCR True Parse has an extensive OCR capabilities. When you read insurance cards with MedicScan OCR True Parse, It extracts the textual information from the medical insurance card image into appropriate text fields, and saves them to external file, clipboard or third party software.

MedicScan OCR True Parse has a flexible data extraction configuration. User can select to extract full card's image, and in case of ID cards, select to extract face image and signature image too. User can select if he wants to export the extracted data to a predefined web address, or a user-selected text file.

MedicScan OCR True Parse offers the possibility to define that the text extracted from the scanned card will be saved to a text file, which will have the same name as the image file (ending with the .txt extension), and which will be placed in the directory where the image files are saved.

The ScanShell 3000D A4 duplex scanner is a small, lightweight scanner that is connects to the computer USB port and does not require a power supply .The ScanShell 3000D A4 duplex scanner scans both sides of a document simultaneously, and the scanned images can be converted into PDF files.

Live update
MedicScan OCR True Parse has a Live Update feature that enables the user to update his software with the most recent version by using the Internet. Live Update checks for updates whenever the user is connected to the Internet, and updates the program automatically with the most recent version of your program available.
