MedicScan OCR True Parse with ScanShell 800DX duplex scanner enables the user to scan both sides of a document in one scan, automatically extract the information from the insurance cards and place the data into appropriate fields. In addition, the image of the card is interactive, allowing the user to select specific fields, parts of a field, or even multiple fields together for additional extraction.
MedicScan OCR True Parse is an insurance card scanner and software package, which scans insurance cards and saves both the image and the extracted textual data, into a file.

MedicScan OCR True Parse is an insurance card scanner with extensive OCR capabilities. It extracts the textual information from the medical insurance card image into appropriate text fields, presents them in an interactive window, and saves them to external file, clipboard or third party software.
MedicScan OCR True Parse has a flexible data extraction configuration. The User can select to extract full card's image, and in case of ID cards, select to extract both the face image as well as the signature image. The User can also select whether he wants to export the extracted data to a predefined web address, or a user-selected text file.
MedicScan OCR True Parse offers the possibility to define which text extracted by the insurance card scanner, from the scanned card will be saved to a text file. This text file will have the same name as the image file (ending with the .txt extension), and will then be placed in the directory where the image files are saved.
